[Solution] Device connected but cannot be detected?

Before connecting your device to PC, you have to know:
Devices with different iOS versions may require different settings.
If your device is equipped with iOS 6 or lower version, you are suggested to unlock it before connectiong.
For iOS 9 or higher version devices, you have to unlock the device, then click "Trust" to connect it to computer.

 

To resolve the problem, follow the steps below:

1. Reconnect your device with another USB cable.

2. Make sure that the latest version of iTunes has been installed successfully on your computer and it can detect the device. If not, update iTunes to the latest version or reinstall it.

3. Make sure the device is in normal status. If it is in Recovery or DFU mode, hold both the HOME and SLEEP buttons until the iPhone begins to boot up. Release the buttons, you are back to normal operation. Then try to connect it again.
