How to Trim Files

Choose the file you want to clip in the file list, and click Trim button on the toolbar to enter the Video Edit window.

Click Play button to play the selected video/audio file. There are several methods to set the segment:

Method One: Drag the Start Point scissors to mark the beginning of the segment, and drag the End Point scissors to mark the end of the segment.

Method Two: Press the Mark In button to mark the beginning of your clip and Mark Out button to mark the end of your clip during the preview.

Method Three: Type certain time number in text boxes manually.

Tip: After finishing the settings, You can click the Play Section button to preview the clip.

Click Reset button to return to the original state of the current settings.

Click Restore Defaults button to restore all your editing settings (Effect, Trim, Crop and Watermark) to defaults.
